L-Number Plecostomus (Hypancistrus \/ Peckoltia) \u2013 Care Guide<\/h3>\n

L-Number Plecos are collector-grade plecostomus species identified by “L-codes” (L129, L134, L136, LDA074) from South American rivers. Primarily from the Hypancistrus<\/em> or Peckoltia<\/em> genera, these small, boldly patterned fish are prized for their striking markings, manageable size, and fascinating cave-spawning breeding behaviour. Unlike Common Plecos, most L-numbers are primarily carnivorous \u2014 not algae eaters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
