This listing includes a pot of 5 healthy stems, ready to plant in your freshwater aquarium.

Well-suited to aquariums conditions, Bacopa Monnieri thrives in a wide range of temperatures and water parameters commonly found intap water — making it an excellent choice for low-tech planted tanks without CO2 injection.

• Care level: Easy to medium — suitable for beginners
• Growth rate: Fast — noticeable growth within days under good lighting
• Lighting: Low-tech compatible — grows well without CO2 or high-intensity lighting
• CO2: Not required, but optional addition accelerates growth
• Temperature: 22–28°C — thrives in typical aquariums water temperatures; ideal below 25°C
• Substrate: Nutrient-rich substrate recommended as this plant feeds through roots
• Placement: Midground to background — effective privacy screen and fish cover
• Fertilization: Regular liquid fertilization recommended, especially in lightly stocked tanks

Propagation: Easily propagated by taking stem cuttings from the main plant and replanting in substrate — new roots develop quickly.

Maintenance tips: Trim regularly when growth reaches the surface to maintain compact bushes. Remove yellowing or dead leaves promptly to prevent decay that could affect water quality in your freshwater aquariums.

Bacopa Monnieri is also compatible with shrimp tanks, community tanks, and Nile cichlid biotopes — a truly versatile live aquarium plant for hobbyists.
